General

• Fixes were made to improve performance and be compatible with the Ren'Py version 7.4.x update. Much of the effect scripting was reworked to use Ren'Py methods properly and efficiently. Now, the code is no longer in danger of breaking in future Ren'Py updates.

• All AlphaMasking has been removed in favor of cropping.

• Runs smoother.
• Panel 1 was previously 2 ground pieces and 2 fog effects. Now, it's 3 ground pieces and 3 fog effects (as originally planned).
• Panel 1's ground pieces now use their x1 scale versions (previously x0.5 upscaled).
• Transition from panel 1 to panel 2 is now a vertical wipe dissolve instead of a vertical panel scroll. It's much smoother and doesn't make a display issue with the panel 1 fog.
• Panel 2 now uses its x1 scale version (previously x0.5 upscaled).
• Panel 2 (the rise shot of HRN) is now done using cropping instead of a position scroll.
• Panel 2's movement function has been swapped from easein to ease_quad (easeInOutQuad) to better resemble the motion of a camera that speeds up and then slows down.
• Transition from panel 2 to page 2 is now a horizontal wipe dissolve.

• Soft pause at the beginning has been removed because the new transition from page 1 works better without it.
• Panel 1's fog stopped displaying on the correct position in Ren'Py 7.4; this was fixed with the changes in all fog scroll clipping.
• Panel 1 HRN motion timing and position adjusted.
• Panel 4 components now uses their x1 scale versions (previously x0.5 upscaled, or x0.8 for the graham cracker + cart).
• Panel 4 no longer uses a black J-shaped block to cover the Graham Cracker's exit because the crop rework is better. Previously, the J block was sometimes visible if you go forward and go back too quickly.
